Kenneth Barron

Kenneth I. Barron, M.D. is the medical director and founder of the Center for Advanced Gynecology in Charlottesville, VA.  His practice specializes in pelvic pain with a major focus on endometriosis surgery and management. He completed a 2-year accredited American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists fellowship with a specific focus in chronic pelvic pain at Florida Hospital, Orlando. Additionally, Dr. Barron pursued a second fellowship in endometriosis surgery at the Center for Endometriosis Care in Atlanta, Georgia.  He has held faculty positions in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Virginia School of Medicine, University of Central Florida School of Medicine, and Women & Infants Hospital of Rhode Island/Alpert Medical School of Brown University.  He is board certified in obstetrics and gynecologist and a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and serves as a Director on the Board of IPPS.
