Nearly 25 million Americans and 25% of the world’s population suffer with chronic pelvic pain, and most suffer in silence with little access to healthcare. Chronic pelvic pain can be caused by a variety of conditions such as Endometriosis, Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), Interstitial Cystitis (IC) or Bladder Pain Syndrome (BPS), Myofascial Pelvic Pain Syndrome (MFPPS) and many more. Pelvic Pain Awareness Month is an opportunity to advocate for professional and public education about chronic pelvic pain conditions and to support research within the field.

Thank you to everyone that participated in May Pelvic Pain Awareness Month 2021! We had a total of 67 registrants for our Move Against Pelvic Pain virtual challenge, and raised over $7,800 through registrations and donations! We would also like to thank the fantastic members that organized their own Pelvic Pain Awareness events and fundraisers throughout the month of May - we couldn't have done this without  you!
